Single Parents: Beyond the Stigma
Single Parents: Beyond the Stigma examines and dispels myths about single parents within the African-American community.  In examining the stories of four families, the viewer learns about the obstacles each of them faced and the strategies they found most useful in overcoming them and providing their children with a supportive and enriching environment.

The program was designed to inspire young single parents to emulate the strategies and techniques that have led to independence and success for many single parents and their children.


This half-hour progra was created for the Springfield, MA Cable Endowment.
